Does anybody else's odometer show km when you start your truck?
I've been trying to find evidence of odometer tampering due to a shady CarFax and I'm here to ask if it's normal for your odometer to show KM when starting the truck and then disappear.

What do you mean it shows and then disappears? Does it go blank? Does it go to trip odometer? I'm really not sure what you're asking.
When you open the door, does the odomiter light up? Does your cluster have an outside temp gauge and compass? Do those work?
If so to all, you're probably safe.
And mine doesn't show km ever. It only shows miles .

If the trucks odomiter is normally in miles, it should never show kilometers.

Oh, no, wait.
Do you mean like when you open your door and the mileage shows? If your truck is in KM then yes, it will show KMs there. But if you have a control panel you can change it to Miles instead.

If you have the message center, you can switch between metric and english. Not sure why it would be switching back and forth though
MESSAGE CENTER (IF EQUIPPED)
Units (English/Metric)
1. Select this function from the
SETUP menu for the current units
to be displayed.
2. Press the RESET control to
change from English to Metri
