Does 2006 have lower grill opening "cover plates"?
I just picked up a 2006 Scab Lariat, and the lower opening in the front seems to be... missing something? I've noticed other trucks in the same generation have these "cover plates" on the left/right sides of the opening, but they seem to be listed as 2004-2005 specific on a lot of the sites selling them. Does anyone know if these were standard on the 2006?
A friend of mine just bought an 07 and we were looking at it and my 04 side by side and the opening that is there is different between the two trucks and like you said his doesn't have that insert like mine (04).
My guess would be they didn't come with it but I may be wrong.

Yeah, one of my coworkers has an 07 FX4 and his doesn't have them either. It just doesn't look quite right to me. I'll probably just buy a grill for that opening.
