08 Fx4 5.4L V8 and I DO NOT have this problem, thank God. I accelerate very slowy too...

Default Transmission fixed
I finaly had some time - took it back to the dealer - they reflashed it and seems to be working fine.

Had the same issue. Just a bit annoying. Took it in to dealer and they flashed something or other. Drove home without the issue. 1 week and no slips. He did say there is a tsb on the issue and was covered under warranty.
