Question Do we have "tow mode" on 04-08 f150's

Hey all,
I've been surfing the tow section and see the newer trucks have tow mode. Do our 04-08's have that with the OD off button? I've got a tuner so guess I'll plug in that tow mode when pulling the RV. Just thought I'd see what you guys have to say.

Thanks!

While turning OD off is what you should do, it is not Tow/Haul mode. All that does is prevent your truck from shifting to Overdrive, then popping out, then in again. Tow/Haul delays shift points.

"Higher shift points to minimize gear changes. It also changes torque converter lock programming."

"Using the tow/ haul mode will also help with slowing the truck and trailer down when descending a hill. If you are in Tow/haul and going down a hill and notice you are picking up speed just tap the brake and the trans will down shift a gear and it will use engine breaking to help maintain speed. Every time you tap the brake it will keep downshifting and if you are using cruise control and the truck and trailer starts to pickup speed going down hill the trans will automatically downshift to try and maintain the set speed. "

The drag on the engine extends the shift points
