Default Do they make black weights for black rims?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they make black weights to balance blacked out rims. Or, if there is a way to attach the weighs so they are hidded. (ie on the inside of the rim)

Thanks!

they do make them as the motorcycle shops used them to balance my wheels....they can balance wheels on the inside also so they arent as visible but depending on the wheels you can still look through and see them

Default weights

have the tire shop use the stick on weights on the inner part of the rim (closest to the rotor) they will be bright lead, then you can dust it with black paint.... or do like the big trucks do and use the power bag that goes inside the tire for ballance....should still work with the tire pressure sensor.

Or, go to your nearest model shop, pick up a small bottle of black "Testors" paint and a small model brush. Then paint them yourself.

WallyMart sells this over in their toy department by the plastic model kits as well.

Hi Wiz,
I sure wouldn't waste time effort and gas searching for "just the right wheel weight". I would get a spray can of flat black manifold paint and shoot the lead-antimony weights and no one is the wiser.

I actually used gloss black rustoleum paint with a small paintbrush.

Why does it matter? You should be rotating your tires every 3-5,000 miles. You could have a balance issue, and they will take them off and you have to do it again. Everyone is switching to steel wheel weights now, and I noticed paint dosent seem to stick very well. I try to stay away from sticky weight. If you truck will never see dirt is ok then. If you take it off road I would say it's a no go. They tend to fall off.
