If you are looking at changing front rotors
Take a look at the centric mod for rwd f150's . It allows you to just change the rotors without changing bearings etc . You then can use any 4wd rotors on the fronts ,no need to pull throwaway nut and all that in future .

Most places have given up on turning rotors
With labor costs and lawsuits expenses of turning equipment it doesn't really pay . Some manufacturers don't recommend it .
I see nothing wrong with slapping new pads on unless it leads to pulling or vibrating . I have not had any problems with it .
I have had problems with calipers seizing after replacing pads due to composite pistons absorbing moisture as they extend, then sticking after you push them back in . Cheapest way out was rebuilt calipers.

They're within spec but barely. You'll need them next time you do brakes if you don't do them now.
Spend money now, or spend money later... That part's up to you.

If you're within spec on the rotors and don't have any shaking while braking, I'd just do pads. Even with some minor scraping on the rotors I've replaced pads with no issues. If you're at 2mm on the pads though, you may run into needing new (rebuilt) calipers if the piston's dust boot has ripped or popped out. No big deal, easy job.
About rotors, on my '07 2wd the front rotors are also the bearing carriers and have the ABS tonewheel mounted. My bearings wore out before the rotors. Guess I don't brake much.
I replaced them with Bosch rotors with a lifetime warranty.
YMMV.
