Do all truck beds have stake pockets?
I have an '07 F150 Supercrew Lariat with 5.5' bed and I don't see any removable caps where I believe the stake pockets should be. Did they make the 5.5' beds without stake pockets? The previous owner had already installed a drop-in bedliner so it isn't easy to tell if there are provisions in the bed for stake pockets and the bed cap just doesn't have cut outs.
Thanks,
Bubba

Not sure about your year, but my 2002 KR does not have stake pockets. I have plastic rail caps and I pulled them off over the weekend and there was NO pockets under them.

Just make sure you pop it off and look before you start cutting... As you see above 'some' don't have them at all.

in the 5.5 foot beds there covered up but there there.
made this a while back. you can dremel through at this point and then cut out the plastic, or you can pop the bed cap off and see for yourself.
the 6.5 foot beds most of the time have a removeable plastic cover.

I believe they have stake pockets but Ford covered up the pockets for aesthetics - the rail cover is either plastic or fiberglass. Some models they put 'caps' in the pockets- but I believe the short bed lariats that year had the older 'full' plastic cover. If you don't have the square inserts that you can 'pop out' with a butterknife, then you should look underneath and measure + dremel cut.
