Default Do 4x4 Models Have a Factory Lift?

Im curious to know if 4wd models have some sort of lift on them factory? My truck has the block with the arms extending inward as seen above the aluminum block in this pic:
I have seen these blocks for sale as "stock 4x4 lift blocks" (For Example:https://www.f150forum.com/f61/oem-fx...blocks-168931/) So my question is if this oem block is giving my truck 2inches of height already and I want my truck to sit 2 inches higher than it does now do I order a set of 2 inch lift blocks and install them under the stock blocks like in the pic I posted above or do I buy a 4 inch block and dumpstertize the weird looking blocks already installed.

on that same note if the 4x4s have a factory lift how do they achieve the extra lift in the front? is there a spacer or do they just use a heavier coil spring?

The black blocks with the bump stops are factory, but the aluminum ones are not.

4x4 uses that block as you have noted for the rear. The front is done by spring/strut combo.
