I found a set of 09 front coilovers from a 4wd, and the top plate (with the 3 studs that go into the shock tower) were rotated, and did not just fit right in. I have not tried to adjust t hem, I just put the stock 2wd coilovers back on. It's on my to-do list.

Helpful to know if it's due to them being from a 4wd or because they're from the next gen truck.

I have a 2010 F150 and I have some FOX 2.0 coilovers for an 04-08 laying around. Based off what you saw using an 09 and up strut on your 04-08 do you think these will fit on my truck?
