I'm throwing codes 2195, and 2197, I think these are because of that hose/pipe I haven't been able to connect.
So...your codes are the O2-sensor lean condition code. I see that one of the possible causes of this is a vacuum leak ... however, if you'll recall my first post, I have concerns that you've burned-out your cats, which could include causing problems with the O2 sensors. This link shows all of the possible causes ...

So...back to the steel tubing that contours around the left (driver-side) valve cover and seems to disappear/become inaccessible between the firewall and the back of the intake manifold....

Near as I can tell this steel line is connected to the underside of the intake manifold...I can't imagine that it came loose with the work that you performed on the engine. Nevertheless, if you are concerned that it has been disconnected / come loose, it would appear that you do have to remove the intake manifold to get to it.

GT, I didn't have the codes before doing the timing work so I figure that the vaccum leak is the problem. I found out that that vaccum line has a recall due to it coming off and causing brake pressure problems.

60DRB, thanks again.

No I didn't have to, you can get to it from under the truck. Take a look at my other thread "Brake booster vaccum line", 60DRB posted a link which shows a FORD writeup on how to do it including pictures.
