A buddy of mine has a 06 F-150 (ext cab) that he bought new with a lift kit and tires on it. He doesn't want the lift and wants to go to stock height.

Well I sit at stock height and we got to talking, I told him that if he wanted I would trade him suspensions. We talked more seriously about it today and he told me that he would swap with me; lift, tires and wheels for my stock suspension, tires and wheels straight across the board and we'd split the cost of install, but I have a buddy who is ASE certified and quite experienced in lifts who would probably do the work for some beer and dinner.

Here's the question; As stated above his truck is a 06 ext cab and mine is a 08 super crew. Will this swap work? Is it a direct swap?

if both are 4wd or both 2wd then yes it should.

Ooh, good point. I have 4 wheel and not sure what he has, need to check that! Thanks...
