Default Different ride heights from the factory?

So ive had my truck a while now, and it sits very high. Its a 05 xlt 4wd. I never really questioned it, but i really wanted to know. Ive attached a pic of another 4wd f150. My truck does have a small leveling kit in the front that i will be removing. Was kinda hoping someone can shine some light on this.

It has a leveling kit installed like you said...Thats why it sits high. Also 4WD will always sit higher than a 2WD truck.

The silver truck is a 4wd, my leveling kit is only like 1-1.5 inch not a huge difference. Im removing it cause im going in a different direction.

It probably has larger blocks installed in the rear from the previous owner

Thanks for the info, yea i think i might have a add a leaf. I have a flat leaf undunder my leaf springs thats not connected to them. So ill be pulling that out along with the 2 inch block and the leveling kit up front. Probably be for sale on here soon lol.

The flat leaf is probably the over load one. most add a leads are curved.
