Default Difference in Transfer case shift motors?

pulled my TC shift motor off yesterday and manually put my truck back in 2 wheel drive.

Going to order a new Motor for it, and i notice that the wires coming from the transfer case are hard wired into the Electric motor, the other 5 are wired to a square plug.

All of the replacement TC motors i see have a 7 pin, all wires go into plug.
Is there 2 different types? or am i missing something?

If anyone has a resolution, please let me know.
thanks in advance.

Default

guess my options are get a new plug/harness combo, Or hard wire the 2 wires powering the actual electric motor, as the other 5 are just position sensors. Looks like im going to try hard wiring them. Kind of stupid that the only replacement part has the 7 pin plug
