So my diff has developed a slight howling sound recently with about 265000km. I'm looking into possibly doing the carrier bearings, pinion bearing and the bearing on the front of the diff. Does anyone have any tips on setting the mesh of gears with the new bearings, adding the shims on pinion and setting the preload on the pinion nut
