People have spotted a 2017 F150 diesel... and seem to think that it'll be the 3.0L V6 motor which has already passed EPA and is available now.. 443lbft of torque..

Maybe in the states but won't be available in Canada unless I go to the US of A and get one. And well that's less cost effective than transplanting...

Yeah, I've seen the spy pics, but I doubt it'll be ready for the next model year. Unless some witchcraft happens now lol

If the diesel gearheads can do some mods that are worth while, I think Ford will do even better in sales than they already are. I've been wanting a diesel and it would be awesome to have one in a 150.

Of course it will be. I am not aware of any model of vehicle available in the US that I cannot get here.

I read yesterday that late 2017 f150 may have it, 3.5l v6 twin turbo 450 hp and 434 torque linked with a 10 speed tranny. A little off the topic but I read in a different article they are coming out with a twin turbo 5.0 also with the 10 speed tranny for the raptor, gt500, possibly a different engine option for the f250/f350 , and higher level trim packages in the f150 for the 2018 year models.

Twin turbo 5 L would be awesome!

I am hoping to get into a 5L for my next F150 and supercharge it right off the bat. They produce great numbers and have a good rep so far.

There's different rules on this side of the mountains. There's models and packages on vehicles that aren't available here in BC that you guys get in Ontario... and then there's some lines that are forced to remove options altogether when coming from the US. Case in point... The 2010 Dodge Journey... they came factory with the navigation system and Dodge here was forced to remove them from the vehicles before they were allowed to cross the border. I worked for Dodge and had to explain it to multiple people why they couldn't get the Nav option...
