Default Diesel Swap

Has anyone heard of making a swap with a International MaxxForce 3.0HS or 7, or any other diesel engine?

The cummins 4Bt is a breeze to swap if you have the right transmission BUT speaking from experiance I believ you would be very dissapointed with the results. I put a4bt from a wrecked potato chip truck in a 72 F250 I used the whole drive train except rear end. The truck ran well and the millage wasin the mid 20s but that engine literaly shook the truck apart It was so bad that I was on a first name bassis with the Locktite store. I sold it to a guy to put in a school buss camper I never heard from him again

i wouldnt bother with doing it, unless you REALLY REALLY know what ur doin. but the desired time needed to do the work, along with the cost of buying a new engine, transmisson, ecm. parts etc...... you could buy a perfectly running diesel off a car lot, in which case id get a 7.3L
