Default did some work to the truck today

so i went out and did the bambi mod, wow is the light a big differance, and then i did the free intake mod, hacked up the housing and noticed a good differance between old and new...





sorry for the darkness, the flash wasnt working due to a low battery

can you get a new pic of the intake? i want a CAI but it'll be a little while till i can but it would love for something that is a fix till i get it!!

no prob...i can snap one tomorrow when there is light if i get out of work early enough...

yea its a small help, a performance type filter would be even better

ha your right, just upside down...i guess i gotta paint it yellow now huh, ha...

anyways anyone with a stock intake box and not getting a intake for a while for whatever reason may want to look into it, it keeps the filter where it was designed to be as far as mounting and enables air in....

if needed/interest appears ill make a write up

i did the airbox mod last year sometime and helped a friend do one on his truck!
and yes you deffidently notice the power as opposed to the stock airbox.

Yeah....the "bambi mod"......how do ya do that?

Don't guess there's a temporary air box mod for a 5.4 though??
