Yes. No joke, for mine at least it became an extremely different truck off the line.

Alright I did it 3 times and I got a 4.2. If that matters. But which position do you turn the key to? All the way forward but not running or the middle section? If I did it right I couldn't really tell unless I had a lead foot today. But ima try again in the morning.

Not sue what the 4.2 has, but this only works on throttle by wire systems, not cable system.

I did it myself and I noticed a good bit of more get up and go.

Ok I just did this and WOW at least for my F-150 5.4L I can tell the difference. Here is what I was averaging before the trick 65 mph 13.5 - 14.0 mpg a little lag on acceleration. Now after doing the trick procedure here are my new numbers 65 mph 16.2 - 16.4 I did hit 17.8 on a ten mile stretch on curise control. So the truck responded well to the trick. I took a few pictures if I need to post I will. I'll have to pass this onto a buddy of mine thanks for posting this.

Ive done this before and did notice extra giddy-up on acceleration, but why would it change mpg's when crusing?

Heavy traffic stop and go giving me different mpg ect ect, got on the toll road no traffic and steady mph topped out at the 17.8. The 16.0 + seems to be the average which is a big jump on what I was getting
