Harley Style / Black Reflector Headlight Housings
Looking to replace my current aftermarket Harley style headlights. I currently have the Hella blackout housing, but I don't think they're made anymore. A lot of the aftermarket housing reviews say people are having trouble fitting the bulbs in the housings. Anyone have recommendations? I don't want to buy factory replacements - Way to expensive.

I ran aftermarkets for about 18 months. I had to seal them with silicone to stop moisture intrusion, and after about a year, they started to turn hazy and developed these weird sparkles in the lens. I sucked it up and went back to OEM. Buy once, cry once. Here's the aftermarkets I had.

At the time I replaced my cheapos with OEM, one of my rear taillight lens fell off (seal was dried/brittle). Since I needed a new assembly, I bit the bullet and bought a complete set of OEM taillights and headlights from a Ford dealership's eBay store. Paid $499 at the time, which I thought was a good deal. Price has since gone up to $604.

I also have OEM Harley heads. I did that for quality issues with aftermarket and that the OEM have gloss black paint on the inside vice flat.

and the lenses are cheap and peal and fog and leak... i could go on and on. the money i spent on aftermarket cheops would of bought and OEM pair from the start.
