They came on mine because of the tow package (I believe). I think they look better than the smaller ones and I'm into function also, so with that, they are a win win to me

Leaning closer and closer to tow mirrors. I'm getting another 2" lift put on the truck in a week or 2 and will probably help the look of tow mirrors a bit more.

Give me till monday and I'll get you a pic of

1.) an 04 f150 with 9inches of lift and 38 inch tires with tow mirrors and without

2.) a 2011 with 6-7 inches of lift and 36 inch tires them and without them

Me and my buddy ordered on the same day mine came with a crack in the plastic so the new one will come Monday... I hate that to make everything work you have to do some wiring tho for 04-06!!

Yeah I'm not too hot at wiring, so unless I can find a great write up for it, I may have to bring them to someone to have them installed...

Not even for how they look on the truck, they're damn nice to have. especially the small wide-angle beneath to monitor the trailer wheels when they swing out of view during turns. Definitely worth it, you will not regret them.

Hey does anyone happen to know how much longer the tow mirrors are (not extended) than the stock mirrors?

Not sure but I'll measure for you and try to do a good write up... There's one on another forum that I'm gonna use but I'll make my own for our site!!
