Most dealerships dont use KKB value for trade in anyways. They use Black Book value, which is wholesale pricing, also what the auction houses use as starting points a lot of times. Plus the dealership needs to make their end of the deal too, they arent in business to only make $200 a car deal, typically the salesmans commission is more then $200 a car deal. It sucks, but its reality. Shop around, I bet you will find someone to offer you more, but I will be real surprised if its going to be $3k or $4k more, probably $1k or $1.5.
