im attempting to install my 55w 6000k hi/lo headlights and 35w 6000k foglights from ddm tuning tomorrow.
im kinda lost on how to install them especially if it requires wire splicing... any help would be great.

the guy from ddm tuning(which put me on hold for 45 minutes) told me that h10's are the same size as 9145's. i don't know about 9140's though. im pretty sure they have a bulb conversion chart you can download in their support section if thats any help.

Also did you order the "raptor" kit or the "apexcone" kit? Thank you again

Dallas
Get the slim kit.

http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W

35watt H13 HI/LO 6000k nothing else... the hi/lo comes with the hid harness, you WONT need an error eliminator, its complete plug and go! No cutting/splicing! Hardest part of installation is finding good grounds and locations to place the ballasts.

I would suggest not getting 55watt, 35 watt is plenty of light and is still a bit too bright in my opinion.

I suggest nothing more then 35watt.

Yea I didn't have to use any eliminators or harnesses or anything. The fog light bulbs are H10's and my kits were $35 for the 55W and $25 for the 35W both raptor V2 kits because there more durable and could def take more abuse lol

Just ordered a set of 35w 6000k H13 Hi/Lo and 35W 6000k H10's

I live in Canada so all in it cost me about $125.00. Now just to be patient and wait for them to show up....

Good choice. Also, make sure you adjust the lights after your done. I had to crank mine down as far as they would go, but i also have a 2 inch level in my truck.

So you're sayin' you had to buy two kits in order to upgrade the fogs too? Just want to know, because I have the same setup except I've got an '06 with the round fogs.

Yes, you need a ballast and a bulb per light. So you need a set for the headlights and a separate set for the fogs. 4 ballasts 4 bulbs lol a lot of **** haha

I don't know....I've had Silverstar Ultras in for a year now and they are pretty awesome. Especially down here where I'm stationed in MS, once you get north of the highway there are no street lights!
I'll figure out what I want to do when I get back from deployment I guess. Thanks for the info!
