Don't the daytime running lights turn off when you engage the parking brake also? I might be wrong though cause I dont have the DRL...

Well most vehicles that will turn them off but not on this truck! Wouldn't work with my 2000 f150 either.... I found the relay thanks to these guys and pulled it out!
