Damaged spark plug threads

Damaged spark plug threads
I have a 2005 f150 lariat with the 5.4 liter engine. I recently had a bad engine miss an took it to the dealership. I had all 8 spark plugs changed and 2 new ignition coils put on. So far (knock on wood) my miss is gone and the truck is running well. The issue I have is that in the notes that I got from the dealership it said that the threads on the #8 cylinder head for the spark plug is damaged. It said that the plug tightened but could be an issue in the future. What concerns me is that these were, as far as I know, the original spark plugs and it said that 2 of them broke off when they were changing them. I plan to call ford in the morning to see what they have to say about it but as far as solutions I would just like to know what's out there. Is there any big risk of blowing a plug out? Also is this something that ford will cover since they are the only ones that have messed with the plugs? Any advice is helpful. Sorry if this is out of line it is my first post. Thanks in advance.

I don't see Ford covering anything since its a 10 year old truck now almost. Also breaking plugs on 5.4 is common, in fact there are threads daily discussing plugs on the 5.4. I wouldn't worry, its the typical take your truck to the dealer and them find 10000 things "wrong" with it. I don't even want to know what you paid a dealership to do this work, you probably should have looked at some independent shops first.

If the threads were that badly damaged...doubt that a Ford tech would of re-installed a new plug and torqued it to spec.. you should be good to go for another 100K miles. I would check to ensure it's staying tight from time to time.
