I was recently merging on to the highway in front of a semi so I punched it...next thing you know, my check engine light started flashing and the truck lost power for about half a mile. after that, the light when off and it ran fine. Until a couple days later, same thing. i punched it, the light started flashing and the truck lost power. Except now the check engine light stayed on. After checking in out, found out there was a cylinder 7 misfire. Any others have misfires and what do you think the problem could be???

My guess would be injector, plug, or COP. Do you know the specific error code?

had the same thing happen to me the other day and I replaced the spark plugs and one coil and it runs great again.

i am fairly sure it was p0307. i just changed the coil pack with a napa brand and so far it funs fine.
