i'm having trouble pulling my cv shaft past the solid axle.. wondering if anyone has done this

I think I know what you are referring to and it has been a while since I was in mine but I am pretty sure that the angled joint is pressed on to the axel. Now if you are trying to remove the whole shaft from the differential buried in all that grease is a c-clip and in that assembly I know there is more than one.

thanks, i ended up getting it off. i just removed the upper ball joint and tie rod to make room
