Default Custom Exhaust for a F 150

Been working on a little setup for the F 150.
One more part coming next week.
Then under the truck I go.
The mufflers are SLP LM 1's I took off
my Mustang
The rest is Night Stalker Inc.

We will see how it sounds on a 4.2L V6

Anything is better than stock. Should sound pretty good. Post some videos when you get it all on there.

Should sound good! I just installed a Thrush 28" glasspack on my truck, sounds awesome and not overplayed like the flowmaster & magnaflow sound.

Awesome to see a fellow 4.2 owner!

Also, it sorta looks like a bump stop installed sideways. Is it a rubber mounting bracket to reduce vibration for something? I don't recognize it though.

After a dry run yesterday fitting the
new system in. Found out it will come out 8"
to long.
I will be redesigning the system this week then
it goes in this next weekend.

Looks like a vibration damper.

Started the Catback system yesterday, A very clean setup.
Man it went as planned. Pulled the old system out in about
50mins. Had to make one cut.

I had to finish up some welding before the install.
Welding complete, On with the install.
The SLP's went in place with no problem like it was made for it.

Then weld in a new hanger bracket to the frame and
hung the Side Pipes.
And the finished job.

Last note I took it out for a test drive.
I did not like the sound I was getting out of that V6 and the SLP,s.
So I pulled it all out and put the stock system back in.
Sounded like ****!!!!!!!!!!!
Just sitting there running sounded good until
you put a load on it. Almost sounded like a diesel

Sounded good to me. I got a 40 series under my 4.2, dumped before the axle sounds mean in winter. Diesel sound is good for me! Nice pics and videos BTW
