Custom Adjustable Height Bilstein CoilOvers
Just thought I would post over here also. We are developing a new custom Adjustable Height Bilstein Coil Over, 0-3" will be the available lift. The technology has been proven on 1000's of trucks (a different brand of truck) and now we are almost finished adapting the Ford F150 fit. I have been working with the owner that developed this originally, he is my good friend of mine. When he found out I was buying a new F150, he said it's time to make them for the Ford guys! These will be marketed as a complete shock/strut assembly and will basically be plug and play, you will have to remove your ball joint and put it back together. Website will be www.F150lifts.com which is not live yet but is coming soon. A 3" rear block and U-bolts will be available as well. Kits for 04-08 and 09- current coming soon.
Can't post prices yet, trying to get approval from administrators.
Thanks

Absolutely not. Well I guess it would be subjective as ones opinion on what is over priced and what isn't is just that, an opinion. First of all, we are not like all the other coil overs. Ours is height adjustable, we think it will be fairly priced and affordable. We will offer different spring rates for different applications. We have coming soon our own designed or improved spacer lift, rear block and AAL, and much much more.
www.F150Lifts.com should be live by the end of the week.
Thanks guys!

Bilstein 5100 series are $288
A set of springs are around $100
The threaded coilover sleeve with base is around $80
Those parts around $470 then you tac on the price of the top piece which is what would have to be designed and R&D. I would say another $200 for those pieces bring the total cost to $670.
Then add in your profit so you can continue to make and sell the kits and make the final price $750.
That is a fair price and I would buy that today.
Most of these company are selling for coilovers for $1000+ which is just ridiculous. I have built many drag cars with coilovers that do 5' wheel stands and go through 100x the abuse of offroad truck and only paid $400-$500.
