Default Cummins? 12V? swap?

Well. I have a worn out thrust bearing. Trucks dying on me. It's there any swap kits or has e anyone put a12v cummins I'm an 04-08?

That's a very heavy engine you are talking about.

I would guess it's been done but not as likely to find someone on an F150 forum that has done it.

You might want to poke around the cummins forums for info like that. If it's been done, its on the net

If money is not a major concern it could be done. It will be a considerable technical challenge and probably cost twice as much as a new engine in a crate from Ford.

As much of a pain as my 5.4 4v swap has been, I wouldn't even want to consider a diesel swap much less from another manufacturer.

I already have more in my motor swap than it would've cost to buy another 3v motor.
