Noticed recently that my cruise was out. Took to the dealer today, since I needed an alignment anyway.
Diagnostics stated that the ABS module was out and it was part of the failsafe with Cruise Control.
ABS dash light is not on, no green light when trying to turn on cruise.
Service department wants $990 to fix. Side note, as I have heard it makes a difference, I do have HID headlights and LED tail lights.

Any thoughts? Or should I replace the module myself?

you sure all your brake lights are working ...including the third brake light ?

TechRep, that was the first thing I looked at when I picked up my truck. $1.39 fix vs $1000. 3rd brake light out, cruising is back to normal! lol....

You don't by chance has a floor shifter as opposed to column shift do you?
