Crew cab with 6.5-foot box?
Hi All,
Been driving Chevy's, but they don't make what I'm looking for now. I want a half-ton crew cab 4WD with 6.5-foot box. Most of the Chevy and Ford half-ton crewcabs you see on the road have a 5.5-foot box.
I stopped at a dealer today and he said Ford has an F150 crew cab 4WD with 6.5-foot box, which is new for 2008. But has that configuration been around longer than just 2008? I would like to buy one that's one or two years old with low miles.

Good call going for the 6.5' bed. I personally don't care for the look of the short bed. Looks disproportionate. Just my opinion. I know some Screw owner is going to be offended I don't like short beds. And welcome to the Ford family.

Master of disaster
I like my 5.5 bed but the only thing that sucks is that I can't close the tailgate with my 4wheeler in the back.
Dose anyone think it's possible of putting on a 6.5 bed, or are the frames different in length ?

Not possible without changing frames, driveshafts, lines, etc. The extra foot is before the rear wheels.
