If it's a vacuum leak causing the IWE to engage and it's only 1 wheel you don't really notice it trying to engage while you're driving. There's no power going to that wheel so the truck doesn't pull to one side, from the steering wheel you can notice the steering wheel is a little more stiff and the steering response has slightly changed. Driving around town you notice the truck is a little bit sluggish when you get on it from a stop. (At least for me anyways but my phasers are locked out) When I had a bad IWE on the passenger side I could always hear it on the freeway. You can hear all the noises of the driveshaft and half shafts rotating and it sounds like you have big *** super swamper tires haha
