Cranking torsion bars vs. levelling kit??
Well I finally pulled the trigger and got an 06 FX4++ screw w/ 6.5' bed. I measured the difference in distance from tire to fender on the front and back and it looks like I need 1.5" more in the front to be level. I read about turning up your torsion bars but I hear that it can wear out your ball joints and other parts prematurely. It's only 1.5", not 2.5 or 3 like other people have done but if I'm replacing ball joints more often, would it pay off to just buy the levelling kit? Or will the 1.5" not affect much if at all and cranking it up will be a cheaper option. I just bought the truck and pretty much drained my bank account haha, running on low funds for the first time in a while.
