Default 07 F150 blank odometer

My odometer light went out, so i read a great thread here on how to replace bulb and got it done in no time at all. Problem is after i get it put together the light works fine but the led display is blank. RATS! Determined i search and find another thread on the subject that tells me it may be a broken soder point . Got the cluster out with ease, but i'm stuck on how to get the circuit board off the back of the cluster . Took off all the screws and bulbs but nothing . If anyone out there knows how the heck to get this done PLEASE help me out, local Ford service dept. wants to rape me for a new cluster. Thanks, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Stay safe.

If the led readout is broken it may not be able to be fixed. And if is able to be fixed you will still need the knowledge and tools to solder a circuit board, way more complication and precise than normal soldering. Try making sure the connector harness is plugged in and seated nice and tight. If it is use a voltmeter to make sure the led circuit is getting power. if its is, its toast and the only fix is a new cluster. I looked on the Ford PTS website thru the service manual and it didnt show how to take the cluster apart and under the troubleshooting for a bad mileage readout it shows no way to test, just says replace.
