Default Cowl End Fasteners broke/missing

My 2004 F150 Cowl has the missing rubber ends, but that is not my concern. My concern is there is a push pin (fastener) at the each of each side of the cowling. Whatever those push pins fasten to are broken or missing completely. From the side that is broken, it appears to be some plastic component that snaps into the sheetmetal just below the bottom of the windshield. Does any know what they are called and an economical solution for replacing them?

Thank you,

Bryan

You can find an amazing amount of good information and drawings here:

Your specific cowl and part numbers are in this drawing. The cowl ends are well documented and can be found at www.cowlends.com.

Looks like Ford has a different # than I do. I refer to it as a windshield setting block, part # 4L3Z-1503296-AB. Best price I have seen is $11.99 for a pack of 5 on ebay or at clipsandfasteners.com, but unless you need 5 of them the Ford pricing looks pretty good! There is some good information out there about how to install them while your windshield is in place, have to modify the part a little, shave it down some. Feel free to contact me at michael@cowlends.com and I would be happy to share the particulars.

Thank you. I'll give you a shout if I need any assistance. I do need to order some of your cowl ends though, but I am sure I can take care of that on your website.
