Couple of questions for new engine
So just about ready to set the new power plant in the truck and have a couple questions. First off truck is 2004 5.4 3v new reman from power source. About to put the harmonic balancer on and was looking through Chilton and doesn't say I have to get a new crank pulley bolt but when I look through different websites it says that the bolt is a one time use bolt. So just seeing what the consensus is on it. The local stealership has the bolt for 12 bucks but no washer need to drive 30 miles to other stealership to get it both problem is I really don't have ti.e to make it out there before they close. And next question is about breakin oil for new engine . Engine company didn't say what to use . Just seeing what people use. Don't want to throw 3600 out the window because of wrong oil.

You should use a new bolt. They stretch, hence the recommendation for a new one.
For breakin, just throw in a good, name brand oil, 820s filter, and change at your regular intervals. Break in oils are no longer a needed item.

Get the bolt, have the dealership get you the washer from the other dealer, they swap parts frequently.

Yep just went to dealership and got the bolt and washer for $22 expensive bolt. One more question that I can't seem to find. Does anyone know what to torque spec is for the mounting plate to the engine mount the 2 bolts that hold the mount to the metal plate I know the plate to block is 46 lbs but can't find the other spec
