Default Cop's

Is it bad to use inexpensive cops on our 5.4 motors? If so why.
Thanks

A lot of people have reported misfires and early failure of cheap COP'S. However, others have had great results with no troubles. My personal opinion, judging from other people's experiences, is to stick with Motorcraft. The next most reliable would be Accels. The super cheap ones are just a gamble.
A lot of times, if a COP is giving you misfires, replacing the boot and cleaning corrosion off the boot spring contact will produce positive results. It is my opinion that this should be done everytime the sparkplugs are changed.

I've never been able to take the cheap option and come out ahead in my experience.
