So I had my plugs changed by the dealer and I now have the brown COP boots. My understanding is the brown boots are 1/2 longer then the black boots because of the redesigned plug. So now I want to replace my COP but the ones I can order come with the black style boots. The company said I need to reuse my brown boots with the new coil. My question is do the boots need to be glued on or are they a slip fit? Can I use the new COP spring or will it be a 1/2 short and need to reuse the old spring?
