Considering Rancho Shock upgrade
Anyone have any thoughts on these?
Front: Rancho RS999910 Quick Lift 2.5" Loaded Strut
Back: Rancho RS999287 RS9000XL Series Shock --these are the longer 2" lift ones... I don't have any rear lift but I figure it can't hurt incase I choose to do a 4 inch lift later. I've heard they would work for a 4-6 inch lift but IDK???
Front
Rear
I'm looking to level the front to add some aftermarket wheels and 33" tires.
Also I'm tired of the broken front coil spring I've had for last 5 years.

don't know so much about the extra length but you will not be disappointed in the ranchos i have all four corners and could not be happier with my purchase ride adjustablity and all new front end struts.there is no need to lift it 4-6 inches if all you are going to run is 33's. with the right offset/backspacing you can go with 34's for sure without rubbing or cutting.here is a pic of mine with 34's

Yup I would go for it. For the price of the rancho's its a very nice upgrade. I have the same one you have listed and I couldn't be happier. The fact that they are adjustable and the fronts come as a whole spring/strut combo; made my decision easy.
I'm running 35's on mine and had to do some trimming.

He claims 18x10 -24 offset and 325x60 toyo with rubbing on a 2.5 rancho level kit -(I'd prefer to avoid the rubbing)

Yup, put that same setup on my '04, except not the longer rears. raised my truck 2" exactly in the front. I like the adjustability, but if you live in a salt state, the ***** get tough to turn sometimes after one winter that I've had them. I can't get my drivers front past number 5 right now, but I don't like the front stiffer than that anyway.

Yeah I'm going to do the Ranchos then...
Now I just need to settle on a rim I like. Wanted the Diamo 17 karat but seems they only make our 6x135 lug patern in 17" and 22" I don't want to go down to a 17, 18 is my preference, so for now I will keep looking...
These are 17x10 -12 Diamo's

right now im running the spacer leveling kit, thinking about going with these in the future. their is no need for that much lift in the future, im running 35x12.50's with only my 2.5" leveling kit

UPDATE: I got the Ranchos from amazon, front and rear: The ride is noticeably better. I set them stiff for now the front at 7 and back at 9 cause I tow a 4000lb boat. I haven't tried towing it yet so will have to see on that. I may try them at 3 and 5 and see how that feels.
THE BAD: I only got 1.5 inch of lift? Here are my measurement at fenders wells running worn 275x65 R18 OEM GY Wranglers
BEFORE:
LF 36 (broken spring) RF 36 1/2
LR 39 RR 39 1/8
AFTER:
LF 37 3/4 RF 38
LR 39 RR 39

The Longer rear shocks fit fine and give more reach for a add-a-leaf or block if I want. I don't think it will be a prob, but since they are longer they will bottom out before the rubber bump hits the axle stop. Overall they should add some to my the rear travel. I will have to put them to the test and see how they do.
