Compass/Temp Issue 08 FX4
Okay so I posted on here shortly after getting my 08 FX4 that I loved my truck except for the stupid compass/temp always saying CAL or showing W as E and E as W. Well everyone including the dealer said I needed a new cluster. Well my OEM Motorcraft battery took a dump so I replaced it with a Diehard Platinum and now my compass/temp has worked perfectly ever since.
I thought at first it was just being stupid and decided to work for a day or two, but after a week of working perfectly I'd say it's fixed. So if you are having stupid issues with your compass/temp on your gauge cluster it could be a weak or dying battery.
