Cold weather whistling sound

It easily get well below zero here.If it goes away after it gets warm,your fine,but if it doesnt go away,then get it checked out to be on the safe side....

Heres the scenario. It goes away just like it did in the video. But when I drive it, about 2000 RPMs it comes back. as soon as I let off, it goes away, and as soon as I get on the throttle it goes away. Its always there, just hit and miss. But Im gonna bring it in and have the service boys look at it tomorrow. I tried saturday, but we only have 2 techs working on weekends, and they were swamped already.

Ya i would say its something else wrong.Usually out of everyone i know here that has a F-150 always tells me the sound goes away after the engine gets warm.Hmmmmm.Let us know what he comes back with....

yep, it was alternator. Was told not to worry about it. Isnt hurting the vehicle. If it gets worse, then think about replacing it.
