The site staff urges that those who are "bothered" by someone not doing a search to simply move on, and not bother to post and tell someone to search. It's not constructive or helpful to the person asking the question.
One member here did a search, and posted threads on the topic; that was helpful.

I've actually been wondering the same thing and am looking into getting one as well. I've heard it's a gimmick while others swear by it so I'm def interested in seeing it anything helpful is said

Sorry op for hijacking your thread, that was not my intention. I was genuinely curious. As to your post I have been a die hard fan of kn. I haven't seen a dyno chart for the gotts mod. (I didn't do a search) but kn brought 19 more hp to the wheels and there is a dyno chart for that. They stand behind their products. And it doesn't look like someone Frankensteined it.

they're also notorious for making the engine run too lean if you don't have the engine tuned... so you're now looking at like $600-700 when you could've just bought a $300 tuner and built your own CAI (Gotts) for $20

19 at what rpm and throttle position?WOT most likely. And dyno test are pretty easy to scew.
Have you ever looked at the stock intake? It is a CAI btw. Food for thought.

The main difference you'll notice is sound and lower intake temps if you have a way to view them. I suggest getting a tune if you get one.

Even that's easy to do without getting a factory CAI. Make the Gotts, then wrap it with metal HVAC tape. Might look like crap, but it'll work.
