Default Coil Spring Sheared. Best value replacement?

Well $#!^ . . .

I need new springs.

Is this a decent option? Figured I'd go ahead and do coil overs if they are this cheap and decent. I'm sure my shocks could use replacing. Just bought the truck so unsure of mileage/wear.

I don't see a brand name so i can't offer advice on these specifically; however, if the picture is right, it looks like there is more "meat" where the lower portion of the coil rests compared to stock. seems like most guys on here like the bilstiens and the ranch quick lifts, but both are more expensive and i think many like them because you can level with them in addition to them being better than stock.

I pulled up a side by side and these look identical to monroe with the exception of a different colored dust cap at the top. I would like to have my truck level. It sits about 2" low in the front right now but I'm thinking those new coil overs will raise it a little. Maybe down the road a 1-2" level is something I can thing about.

can you ask the seller for the name of the manufacturer? I assume they likely will be fine and at least be comparable to stock, but without knowing the manufacturer, it's a risk you either are or are not comfortable taking

I contacted the seller through Ebay about a manufacturer. I'll report on any reply. As for f150lift.com , there's no way I'm paying anywhere close to $1000 for struts/springs. I realize they have their purpose and market but they don't fit my definition of "best value".

Just found these Monroe's. Seeing as I have had and enjoyed Monroes, these are my new top pick.

EDIT: Those are the "economy" level setup. The premiums are $120 each. I may break the bank and go the premium route

Check out rockauto. They have Monroe quick struts assemblies and are at a real reasonable price 113 each thats for 4wd.

I've actually seen good reviews on this forum for those. for me $10 is not enough of a difference to try out the ebay ones if you don't get a manufacturer name.

I agree. It took me some digging but I think either Monroe's are a better option.

Hat tip to the RockAuto idea, also
