Default Coil Replacement On 06 F-150 XLT Need Help

I have just bought a coil for my 06 F-150 4.6. I was looking at it and wondered if I had to remove the fuel rail to get it replaced. The code is Misfire On #6 and Fuel to Lean. Any help is appreciated.

if you just replacing a coil, you do not need to disconnect the fuel rail... just disconnect the battery, and if its the side of the battery, you need to remove the computer i believe. the one with the 3 huge plugs, and get back there and just unplug it, and put the new one in... hopefully its on the other side of the battery, and you dont need to remove anything.

I believe its a 7mm socket. and use a small extension. and dont forget to plug the coil back in

No problem, I had to do it like 3 times, to all 8... first time, bad coils... I ordered some off ebay, said to be the same, was totally different after i got my plugs changed... then i changed the coils to ones i bought from FORD... then I didn't use Motorcraft plugs, and it was running funky... so i changed the plugs out to OEM Motorcraft... it was such a bich lol
