Default Codes..... Help please

Got a code p0053 the other day it says heater risistance bank 1 sensor 1.today I got two more with that one p2196 (sensor signal biased/stuck rich-bank 1/ sensor 1) and I forget what the other one because I cleared them and only these two came back on . So I know it's a problem with the o2 sensor but is there anything I can check before I order my new sensor to make sure that's what it is. Thanks in advance

Well you could start by telling us what you drive. Year, model, engine etc... No mind readers in this forum unfortunately.

IIRC there is a fuse for the heated circuit part of the O2 sensors, start there. Don't remember if it's the under the dash fuse panel or under the hood in the power distribution box. With that said check all fuses just to be sure.

Resistance check on the o2 heater wires will show if its an open circuit or not that will eliminate the sensor heater and yes it will recieve voltage until the engine reaches proper temp. They should be 2 grey wires for the heater.
