did you go back to stock ... this is displayed when the drive cycle is not complete...it will go away when all conditions are met.

You must of disconnected your battery then...you are safe to install a program...try level 2 first...

when you connect to or update the ECU, you kill all the OBD test status values. You need to drive the truck in a manner that completes all the required tests again. People used to clear CELs by wiping the test info and passing emission tests that way. Now you have to have actual OBD tests complete to pass. Just drive it.

It does not happen when you connect to or every time you plug in a DTC reader it would happen ....now updating the ECU yes.. disconnecting the battery ...not sure

You don't need to do anything, just driving the truck will allow it to complete the tests. If you have any other issues during the emission test then it will set a code accordingly such as leaving the gas cap loose or having a small or gross leak detected.
