Default Code P0182 fuel sensor help

Anyone know what could be causing this?

- Faulty Engine Fuel Temperature Sensor
- Engine Fuel Temperature Sensor harness is open or shorted
- Engine Fuel Temperature Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

I would try a new sensor...after I checked out the connection and re-set the DTC.

It is on the drivers side fuel rail.

Not yet. After I reset the code, it never tripped again, but the truck has been idling sluggish again the past couple weeks like it did when the problem first occurred, so I'll probably be getting a new sensor after Xmas.
