Not until you plug it in. Thought the part numbers may be different, I'm not sure

So I just put a 08 lariat cluster in my 04 lariat. Now I am having all kinds of problems. My radio and Windows turn off and on by thereself. And the tire pressure fault light keeps going off over and over again, can't even drive it its so annoying. But my other cluster didn't have the tire pressure light, so is that the problem.

Why did you trade a lariat cluster for another lariat cluster? I don't know about the lights and radio issue but you Aren't going to be able to get rid of that tpms warning.

Are there any issues with changing a FX4 Cluster with another FX4 cluster(several on Ebay)? Do they have to be the same year? I have a FX4 with 179K miles so I am not worried about correct mileage but my fuel gauge isn't working and I repaired the odometer but it is back to intermittent again and I am just tired of screwing around with it. I also thought someone on here repaired clusters but I can't seem to find that post either.

Shouldn't be any issues swapping as long as you both had manual a/c.On a side note, Mark LT Clusters can NOT be reflashed to run manual a/c. Since it was not an option for the Lincolns. If you want A/C, use the gauge cluster from an F150 XL,STX,XLT,FX2,FX4, Lariat, Limited, Harley, etc.

I have done the lariat cluster swap and the info buttons and the eatc into my 04 STX. But I still can't get the door ajar lights to work. Someone somewhere said there were some wires that had to be moved around to make it work, but I can't for the life of me find any info on it. If anyone could help with this it would be greatly appreciated!

THat makes sense, go to a dealer and ask him to "Reflash the *As-Built* data from the system. Make sure to tell him you have an STX and put a Lariat cluster in

What would be the most direct swap for a 2007 2WD XL that does not have a tach? I would like to have a tach, but I don't need the message center crap.

I could probably have the dealer closest to me reprogram it so the miles are correct.
