post a link, didn't know they had a dryflow....I am interested as I have seen oiled filters ruin MAF's.

FYI... AEM and K&N dry flow filters both come from the same factory... Some of the AEM's even have K&N stamped on the metal seam pleat. Both are good quality filters.

Hi.

While it's nice to see they finally appear to be acknowledging the issues with their oiled filters, the fact remains that there are still no real perf benefits, no filtration advantage over OEM paper (or an Amsoil eA filter), and most importantly, the CAI's requirement to having a corrective tune in place to account for the skewed MAF Transfer Function it causes.

They dont offer a standard drop in filter, just the cone filter it appears. MGD is correct, no reason to install a CAI on our trucks. Do the Gotts mod if you like, but CAI's are pointless without at least a tune. I am going with a AEM drop in filter and calling it a day.

Yep the cool noise is worth something. ...back in the day we used to flip the air cleaner top over to get it....lol

Plus I had my gryphon programmed for the CAI and exhaust mods on my truck.

This brings back memories! I remember flipping the air cleaner top on my 77 cutlass. Sounded mean when those quadrajet secondaries opened up lol. Never a worry about how much crap was being sucked into the engine. Those were the days!!!
