Default Which Chip/Tuner for '07 STX 4x4, 4.6 liter

I have an 07 STX 4x4 with the 4.6 liter and 3.73 gears. I tow 6-7 times a year ( a 25 foot Travel Trailer).

Most of my off-roading is on the beach and in the dunes. The towing power is tolerable, but I need a little more umph when off-roading and a little more power when towing would be welcome as well.

I'm getting about 13 - 17 MPG's driving, city versus highway.

What do you suggest for chips or tuners? I don't want to void the warranty or tear up the transmission. Let me know what you think!

My recommendation is Gryphon (re-badged Edge) with custom tunes.

Up to +25 HP and +40 ft/lbs

I concur. Best Bang for the Buck, and we all know you're gonna throw more mods on. Edge won't handle mods, canned tunes only. Gryphon is awesome and friendly helpful staff! No, I am not an employee of them

Any more info would be appreciated.

What about warranty? Do these void the warranty?

gryphon is the best in my opinion for customer support and servicing, sct is the next best but that is just because everywhere around the us there are sct supported dyno tuners and thats really it. they arent a great company to deal with and are overpriced but if you can get a used one then id go for that, if not, gryphon is a great way to go.

no real experiance with them, the special forces and diablo are more in the back ground with 150's and the sct/edge-gryphon's lead the pack
